We are A sanctuary community of indigenous and rainbow warriors, we are open and inclusive. Together we focus on prayer, education and action. We teach non-violent resistance centered in our love for Mother Earth, and our concern for clean accessible water for everyone. Water is a human right, not a privilege and it is essential to our survival for all our relatives; the two legged, the four legged, those that swim and those that fly. By grounding ourselves with regular talking circles followed by actions, Water Protectors of Milwaukee has formed a unified community willing to partner with any organization or tribe that shares our passion to protect and defend the Sacred-- Mni Wiconi: Water is Life.
